You Belong Here
Sheesh, it’s taken me a MONTh to get this post up, and for that, I am SORRY! But here goes! I’m going to TRY to sum up my annual coach training trip called Summit!
Every year, my company hosts an annual training event where coaches from all over the US, Canada, and UK come to hang out, meet for the first time, received INCREDIBLE training and workout together. I have a team that is from all over, and while MANY were unable to make it this year because of conflicts, I DID get to meet and love on some of my team that I have never met in person!
The first day we simply HUNG OUT! There was an opening ceremony that night with awards and recognition and I was on stage to represent our team. It’s such an honor to do that. Team Take Heart represents a group of women who love to serve and who want to make an impact through fitness. It just so happens that I’ve met some of my BEST friends through this gig. Women who love Jesus and want to spread His light through our daily fight for our health!
The theme of this years event was “You Belong Here.”
And I think that EVERY year they nail the theme, but it never felt more fitting. There are so many different demographics, body types, and more that make up our company of coaches. And each of us, alongside the founders of our company are on a mission to help other people live a healthier and more fulfilling life. There are so many ways we can do this, but God dropped coaching into our laps. And every day. Every month. Every year that I have been a coach, I’ve woken up with a DESIRE to serve. I cannot claim the success and the accolades, because I am nothing without Christ. He has blessed the work!
And last year, my team ranked among the Top 200 coaches in the network of over 350,000 teams. It is humbling. It is an honor. It is exciting to watch this tribe of mine grow! We were recognized at a private party at the Indianapolis Speedway. They drove us around REALLY fast in a car…….
And to think… this all began win 2014 with a tiny, feeble “Yes” I uttered when someone offered to help me with my fitness.
Everyday we got to workout together IN PERSON! Not just via a laptop or phone screen, but TOGETHER! When fitness brings you together, it’s kind of a big deal to sweat it out side by side.
Saturday night, some of my success partners and I hosted an exclusive party for the top leaders on our team. We dressed up. Ate good food. Drank a glass of wine and then strutted our stuff to our closing ceremonies!
What about you?
I believe within my heart that God called me out of a dark place in 2014 in my fitness and then through this business. I know without a doubt that this is where I’m supposed to be. How I’ve supposed to be serving. Coaching is what brought me home to be a MUCH MORE present wife and mama!
And I believe there are other women out there who need this gift.
+It’s not easy to begin. Actually it’s downright SCARY!
+The success doesn’t happen over night (despite what many people thing about MLMs, this is NOT a “get rich quick scheme”. You gotta WORK!
+God WILL use you to spread His message of hope and love with the world through this platform!
And I ask you if you’re still reading this, WHY NOT YOU!?
I am always looking for women who want to be good stewards of our gifts (even if you don’t realize you have them, like me), and want something to call their own that fulfills a greater purpose.
