When God Wins

I remember sitting on my couch in August 2014 and telling Matt, “I do NOT want to do this….but I feel like I am SUPPOSED to.”

Which seems kind of silly now….I mean, “I don’t want to get healthy, help others do the same and earn an income..”

Who says that?

Have you ever had those moments? When you sense God calling you out, even though at the time you may not know it is Him?

I was three months into a new nutrition plan, workout, and what I hoped was a way of life. But there was no way to be sure. My track record wasn’t great…. But I had these exact thoughts floating through my brain:

• This program of home workouts and portion control WORKS
• What if I could help another tired mama realize this?
• What if I could earn a little extra cash to help us make ends meet?
• What if I fail?
• What will others think of me?

Honestly, there wasn’t a lot of consideration given to what God might want me to do. But He was there. A nagging feeling in my gut that told me I would regret it if I didn’t try.

So I said YES. And my life changed forever. Not just because I got fit and started to earn an income, but because my life suddenly found a DEEPER purpose.

I LOVED and still love being a mom. But I’ve always loved to WORK! To put my hand to something that fulfills me and earn an income or reward for doing so. I am NOT ashamed of that. I believe God planted that desire in me.

And this coaching gig.- as foreign and scary as it was – filled that hole!

2019 Success Trip

What was this trip all about? It was a reward for serving others in my business! Every month my team and I set a goal to help at least 3 people in our business get started in a bootcamp. Where they commit to workouts, nutrition, superfoods and community! It’s a NON-NEGOTIABLE in my business!

And Beachbody rewards us coaches who hit that goal each month! The trip was FREE except for travel, and it is the 4th trip I have earned. My family is already booked for Punta Cana next year!

We had an Elite Reception night. My team was celebrated as being in the top .3% of the company. We cruised, parked our bottoms in a hut in Haiti, brainstormed, set goals, relaxed by the pool, worked out on the deck with super trainers and envisioned where we would be in 2020!

I LOVE being surrounded by strong, powerful and God-fearing women who push me to be better, and this week was what my soul needed!

You saw me go on an amazing trip this last week with some of my BEST friends. But don’t be sidetracked. That was fun and exciting, but it’s the daily work I do that fills my cup.

• Putting the words in my heart into posts and stories you see on IG.
• Learning HOW to use social media.
• Creating content for my challenge groups to help my ladies
• Committing to helping 3 women every month get started on their own fitness journey.
• Finding women who want to create a RIPPLE effect of faith and fitness and business and teaching them to do just that

If any of that sounds like it would be your JAM, I’m looking for 3 new women to join my team – Team Take Heart . Not just anyone. Women who want to commit with me.
