SS Beachbody Cruise – Pure Awesomeness!

SS Beachbody Cruise – Pure Awesomeness!

I don’t even know where to begin, but get ready for picture overload….

I had no idea what this trip would be like. Would it be fun?  What would the cruise be like? Would we enjoy the atmosphere on the ship?

But it was wonderful!  I keep asking myself since I’ve been back, “did that really happen?”  It seemed to fly by.  We missed the boys like crazy, but honestly we were so busy that it wasn’t painful.  They absolutely would have LOVED it!

Some of the highlights for me:

1. Early morning workouts on the deck of the ship!  Watching the ocean pass by as we jumped, squatted, lunged, and worked hard!  I enjoy my early morning workout, but this was a whole new dimension.  I was surrounded by old and new friends who were passionate about health and fitness and it was just plain old FUN!!!!

2. The Friendships – I have friends that I have made since coaching that are so precious to me!  And most of them live very far away from me.  Kristina is absolutely my BEST friend I have made since coaching, and she lives all the way across the country in Washington state!  We get to see each other maybe twice a year, so we were pumped to get together!  And for our husbands to meet.  They are both goofballs and it was a blast!

3. Another very precious person to me is my personal coach, Melanie Mitro.  This woman is a rockstar in the Beachbody world, because she is the top coach two years in a row.  But to us, she is just Melanie.  Mentor, friend, goal pusher, and someone who makes me a better coach all around!  I am so grateful for her leadership and the fact that we got to have fun together and hang out NOT on a ZOOM call!

4. Time with my Man!!! Matt and I needed this so much, and although we know the boys would have had a BLAST, it was so nice just to relax and have fun and enjoy one another!

We slept in some days, took our time at meals, walked the ship a hundred times it seems like, laid by the pool, explored the Ports of call, kayaked and laid by the ocean!  It was so wonderful and refreshing to have that time with him.

5. Kayaking!!! Without a doubt, this is what Matt and I looked forward to the most.  We both love to sea kayak, and doing it somewhere new is even better!  We ported in Falmouth, Jamaica and took a bus to our kayak departure site.

I cannot begin to describe to you the beauty we encountered.  God’s creation – completely untouched – is breathtaking.  And we got to do it with good friends, followed by local Jamaican cooking on the most beautiful beach!

Isn’t it breathtaking????
6. Worship!!! We had the most amazing worship service on Sunday morning with other coaches who absolutely LOVE Jesus and want to serve Him.  Matt, our worship leader (not my Matt), led us and used Paul as an example.  He spoke about our Position verses our Purpose.  Paul was in many positions that he could have run from and sought to be on a place of comfort instead.  But he chose to remain where he was.  In most cases very uncomfortable – in order to fulfill his purpose of serving God.

I see coaching that way.  It is not always comfortable – posting, inviting, sharing so openly. But I have seen God use me in ways that I wasn’t being used before.  Sharing my faith and the story of God’s grace.  Sharing my personal fitness story and encouraging others that they can make lasting changes to their health as well.  Leading my coaches to grow and learn and get uncomfortable as well in order to help others!  It has been quite the journey, and I look forward to what God has to teach me this year.

7. And finally, it was so amazing to share this time with my Beachbody family!!! This company is amazing!  Truly.  While they are not officially a Christian company, the leaders are so passionate about what they do and about truly making a difference in others’ lives.

The whole concept of coaching came about because Carl Daikler, CEO, wasn’t happy with the fact that customers weren’t having long term success with the programs.  They were making killer money off the programs, but they wanted their customers to stick with it!

So, they came up with the idea of personal coaches who would run fitness challenge groups and help challengers by encouraging and providing motivation.  I think that is so cool.

And they POUR into us as coaches!! Trainings, rewards, incentives – this trip was FREE simply because I chose to set a goal of helping 3-5 new people every month in a challenge group.

I could not ask for a BETTER and STRONGER company to work for.  I am so excited to lead my team of coaches and I know that many of them will be with me next year in Punta Cana celebrating another great year!

This trip was just another confirmation that I am where God wants me.  I’m excited about the year ahead and where Team Take Heart is headed. My focus is fixed on following God’s leadership in my business and on my team.

I would LOVE for you to join my team if you feel led.  My team and I are hosting a 3 day Sneak Peek into what we do as coaching starting Monday.  We will share:

  • How to get started
  • How to earn income
  • How you can combine your passions and faith into your business to serve God
  • How you can build a business from your kitchen table.
If you would like to join us to learn more, click HERE to join the closed group. There is no commitment. This is just to learn more.

We will follow it up with a live call on Wednesday evening at 8:30 pm, CST.  I will share the link to this call in the sneak peek group.

Life is short.  Don’t waste it spending time doing something that doesn’t fulfill you!
