My FINAL Week of the 21 Day FIx and Imperfect Progress

My FINAL Week of the 21 Day FIx and Imperfect Progress

I forgot how quickly this short program goes by!  I’ll probably be doing another round of it, because…pause for it….I got Matt to commit to doing 21 Days with me!

Y’all!  This is HUGE!  He loves the 21 Day Fix workouts, but it’s really a struggle for him to remain committed to the nutrition portion of it. Heck!  It is for me too!  That’s why I coach!  I need that extra level of accountability.

Progress just from the first 7 days!

So!  Here I am, heading into Week 3, and I’m feeling so incredible! I haven’t done it perfectly.  I got a little off track last night at a church function, for which my body vehemently protested against!

But I am feeling stronger, lighter and much more consistent.  Which is what it’s really all about right?

When I shared in my challenge group last night that I had caved to the cookie cake, some of my ladies were super encouraged that I get off track too!  Which made me realize that I need to share MORE of the fact that I do this whole health and fitness thing very imperfectly.

I struggle with binge eating and even not eating enough at times.  I struggle with wanting that extra serving of cashews or carbs when I know I’m already full and just wanting to EAT!

And sometimes I cave. Sometimes I don’t.

But no matter what, I commit to getting up the next day and refocusing on the goal I have for my body and for my health….and I’m not talking six pack goals. Instead, I want:

1. To be able to run and play with my kiddos.
2. To feel sexy (gasp!  Yes, I said that on a Christian blog) with my hubby.
3. To show other women that while our progress is imperfect, we can still move forward.
4. To teach my challengers that cheat meals that turn into cheat weekends do NOT mean we’re not capable.
5. To trust God in this area of self-control that I struggle with so deeply.

I didn’t start out as a coach who led other women. I started where most of you are.  Tired and struggling and afraid of committing yet again to another “diet” that I would fail.

But what I have learned is that :

1. “Diet” is an ugly word. Remove it from your vocabulary!
2. I can do ANYTHING with the help of my great God.
3. I am WORTH it!  Sticking with it. Trying again. Pushing through.  Failing forward.

And so are you my sweet friend!

Meal Prepping Win!

So!  I’m down a few pounds, and even more inches.  I’m loving the food I”m eating, and I’m committed to finishing this round strong and then continuing on with my awesome hubby and challengers who want the accountability too!

As I sit here and type this, I am receiving messages from my last round of challengers who are sharing their progress in images and in stats. And Oh MY Goodness!  I’m floored!

These women have worked so hard. Have prayed even hard and have been getting the BEST results from their efforts.

There is not a day that goes by that I don’t thank God for starting me on the journey and for the blessings He has provided through coaching.

I GET to celebrate with these brave and beautiful women who are fighting for their health alongside me!

I didn’t start out expecting to be in the top 1% of coaches when I signed up 2.5 years ago.
I didn’t expect to build a team of wonderful friends.
I didn’t expect to be able to make such a huge impact in people’s health.
I didn’t expect to match my full time faculty salary in less than two years.
I didn’t expect to earn free vacations for me and my family and to be able to pay off debt that had been dragging us down for far too long.

I didn’t even know how to take SELFIES on my phone!!!! ðŸ˜‰

I honestly just wanted the added accountability.

STRONG and HEALTHY, that was and is my goal. I know that this can’t be achieved with some quick fix. Being strong and healthy takes consistency, perseverance and hard work.

One of the reasons I decided to become a Beachbody coach is because they share the same vision. They have created THE BEST home workouts and created a shake that can’t even compare to anything else on the market. Nothing they do promises quick results. Nothing they create is focused on just being skinny or looking a certain way. It’s about being strong and healthy physically and mentally.

And the same concept has applied to my coaching journey. This isn’t a pyramid scheme or a get rich quick venture. It’s about building a solid foundation. It’s about consistency and perseverance when the challenges come.

I have built my business from the ground up simply by showing up, working hard, and with sacrifice. And I am PROUD of that. Proud of where simply saying YES has taken me. Proud that I don’t have to look back with regret and wonder “What If?” .

And I’m looking for 5 more women to join my team and grow with me!

If becoming a Beachbody coach is something you have ever considered, I would love to have you join my “Look Into Coaching” Wednesday night at 8 pm central. There are no strings attached, just information. To Join just click HERE or leave your information below!
