An Easter Art Project

We’re finding new ways to celebrate Easter! ⠀

No egg hunts. ⠀
No church ⛪️ services. ⠀
No family meals. ⠀

Just us, our boys and the quiet celebration of the greatest act of love ❤️ ever!  ✝️⠀

This was a fun and simple activity we did yesterday that generated some good conversation about Good Friday. ⠀

1️⃣ We used painters tape to make a cross on a white piece of paper. ⠀
2️⃣ Then painted with water colors. ⠀
3️⃣ Allow to dry. ⠀
4️⃣ Peel off tape to reveal the cross! ⠀

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀?⠀

We will dye eggs, have simple baskets, and make our Resurrection Rolls to celebrate the day Jesus sealed the deal! ⠀

Keeping it simple is helping me keep my focus on Jesus. I pray it is for my boys as well! ⠀

“Jesus spoke these things, looked up to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you, since you gave him authority over all people, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him. This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent — Jesus Christ.”⠀
‭‭John‬ ‭17:1-3‬ ‭⠀

Happy Easter !⠀
Rach⠀

(BOOKMARK to save this for later! And please SHARE! I know other mamas are looking for ideas like I was!)
