Always have a Plan

Always have a Plan

Oh my goodness. We are moving into one of my FAVORITE seasons of the year.

Cooler weather, football, get togethers, camping, fire pits, family.  ALL of it excites me!

But it also provides a lot of temptation for this momma.  I love to bake in the Fall.  Thankfully I’m not really tempted by all the candy, but I have my moments. .

And if there is one thing I’ve learned the past two years, it is to ALWAYS have a plan.

This weekend is Labor Day, and it will be a great weekend for our family.  Honestly, just doing the things we love: football, playing at home, church, riding bikes with friends and eating.  I am planning to grill out Monday and keep it pretty clean, but we will indulge a little too with brownies and maybe some smores…weather permitting.

But come Tuesday, I’m back on track. The mental struggle to get on track is SO much harder than the physical.  And I see so many people quite and give up with setbacks.

But,  I have worked so hard the past two months with my challengers to stay on track and commit to doing what is BEST for my body without looking at a scale.  And it has been mind-blowing.  God has used this time to remind me that I CAN remain consistent without relying on the scale to dictate my decisions.

I CAN stay plugged into Him and what His word says is right for me and my body and remain focused.

I cherish these reminders, and I aim to stay focused and to SHARE them with you guys and my challengers.

Don’t be a slave to food or your emotions.  I love the some above by Zach Williams.  Jesus is a chain-breaker!  Trust Him.  Pray and ask for help. He will deliver in this area.  Trust me!  I’m a reformed yo-yo dieter!

So, here’s my plan!

3 Day Refresh with my team this week and then sticking with my goals. And honestly, I’m not even weighing or measuring myself for this refresh. That’s not important to me at this point.  I’m aiming for reseting my body and cleansing it from the sugar, salt and junk cravings.  And to just feel stronger!

I will be at the beach in two weeks for a leadership retreat and then again in October with MY team.  So stinking excited.  And I love to feel confident in my swimsuit…yes, I’m still human.

Do you have a goal? Probably so.

Next important question: Do you have a PLAN??? If not, let’s do it! STop setting goals and failing to make them happen.  Message me at janzenmitch@outlook.com if you want to get started today!
