Lemon Dill Green Beans

Green beans are my favorite! ! But at Thanksgiving, this extremely healthy veggie gets turned into something not so healthy.

This is a very tasty option this Thanksgiving!

Ingredients

2 lbs fresh or frozen green beans, trimmed
8 tsps chopped fresh dill
2 tbsp minced shallot
2 tbsp EVOO
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp whole-grain mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper.

PREPARATION

  1. Bring an inch of water to a boil in a large saucepan fitted with a steamer basket. Add green beans, cover and cook until tender-crisp, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from the heat.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk dill, shallot, oil, lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Add the green beans and toss to coat. Let stand about 10 minutes before serving to blend flavors.
Serves 8

This is one I will definitely use on a regular basis for our family!

    Green beans are getting good healthier and energy ingredients. Large fitted and good steamer to cooks. Your cooking information is really nice and follow for adding some of flavors also. The serving quality heat and toss of coat to added for that. The lemon juice and grain mustard from this recipe. Very easy to cook and getting great taste also.
