30 Day Elimination Week 2 Recap

30 Day Elimination Week 2 Recap

What Is the Elimination Process And How Am I Feeling

Refinement Assignment

Refinements a word I’m learning to love. It isn’t a bad word like I thought. I’m learning to view it as a “touch up” when I need it. An opportunity to IMPROVE.

I’ve learned a lot these past weeks of this elimination program. About myself. About my choices. Some thoughts I haven’t fully wrapped my brain around yet but there’s this…..

👉Food has NEVER been my enemy.
👉My CHOICES are what work against me.

I have changed some old habits that have crept back in during these past two weeks, and I can already see a huge difference in my body and the way I feel. I’m getting more sleep in. Focusing less on the scale. And MORE on what my body is telling me!

My Focus Thanksgiving Week

I FEEL good. 🌟
My brain is clearer. 🌟
My skin is clearer. 🌟
My sugar cravings are GONE! 🌟

But leading into the holiday week, I realized that I was getting a bit ANXIOUS about figuring out how to balance the holiday with my plan. And the last thing I want is to OBSESS over doing this perfectly. I shared this with my Elimination group this morning….

I’m seeking perspective, not perfection.

And anytime a plan causes you to obsess and form an unhealthy relationship with food and our bodies, it should be evaluated.

I WILL make plenty of tasty and healthy dishes for the holiday.
I WILL watch my portions, and I WILL eat a small piece of pecan pie if I feel like it.

I challenged my Challengers to finish this sentence today!

Because I know that food is NOT the enemy. It’s MY choices and lack of self control that can be the problem.

And I HAVE gained PERSPECTIVE. 😍 Seeing where I was having too many extras. Teaching me some new things about how to eat and WHEN to eat {More on that later}. And forcing me to become a challenger again. Which in turn makes me a better coach.

I take care of my body, because I want the energy and alertness to make better choices in ALL areas of my life! Spiritual, relational, financial. Eliminating the junk from my body forces me to eliminate the junk from my mind! 🎉🎉🎉

Meal Plan for This Week

PS: I have a new group starting the Monday after Thanksgiving. We’re going to be commuting to 30 minute workouts and forming a HEALTHY relationship with our bodies and food. It’s gonna be a good one! I’m really excited! send me your info here and I’ll message you tomorrowQ

 Results So Far!

I have lost ZERO weight, but I have leaned out a good bit, and I am just super excited about continuing down this path, because it WORKS for me!  It’s so important to listen to your body ladies.  Don’t try to force it into a mold or just do what others are doing. Listen, adjust, and focus on what’s BEST for it. Not being skinny. Skinny isn’t always healthy.
